With families, for families.

Get involved

Take part in CHILD SPARKS.

CHILD SPARKS grows through parents, carers and supporters taking part. Join a workshop, share something you have learned or help with an activity. You do not need to be an expert: your experience of supporting your own child may be useful to another parent.

Join in as a family

Take part in workshops, the weekly Book Club and regional activities. Meet other parents, share your experiences and learn from what has helped other families. Children and young people can enjoy activities and build connections too.

Volunteer with us

Help welcome families, support an activity or lend a hand with administration, fundraising or community outreach. Tell us about your interests, skills and availability through Sparks Connect so we can discuss a suitable role. Recruitment requirements may include references and training. DBS checks are required for roles where this is appropriate, taking account of the nature of the role and the activities involved. Where a DBS check is required, it must be completed before you begin that role.

Join the weekly Book Club

Read and discuss ideas that help you understand and support your child. You do not need to be an expert reader; there is space to listen, ask questions and share your perspective. Join Sparks Connect and choose the Book Club registration route to get started.

Fundraise for CHILD SPARKS

Our families, friends and supporters help raise funds through our annual sponsored walk and other community fundraising activities. These help CHILD SPARKS provide learning opportunities, activities and support for children and families.

Support our fundraising

Partner with us

We welcome conversations with charities, community organisations, schools, professionals and other groups where working together supports our charitable aims. Professionals may offer knowledge for an occasional parent learning session, and organisations may help with resources or activities. Contact us to discuss how you would like to contribute.
